Hello I'm Stephen Short. Let me personally welcome you to PrayerList.Com. We are an Internet Only Ministry and are physically located in
La Vergne, Tennessee just south of Nashville.
In 1973, when I was 8 years old, a missionary visited my church. During his speech I had a feeling inside that God was calling me into the ministry. I didn't know what I was to do except it was to be important.
From this time until 1997, God was preparing me for his ministry. He guided my life in a way that would cause me to learn computer and website programming.
In November of 1997, when I was 30 years old, I had a feeling that God was calling me to create a website called PrayerList.Com.
I was unsure if this was so until a couple of weeks later, a friend came by and said he thought of a website I could create. To my surprise he said PrayerList.Com. This was like a second confirmation that God was calling me to create PrayerList.Com.
To get a final confirmation I did a search for the availability of the domain name PrayerList.Com. When this search showed that the domain name was available, I instantly registered the name and began creating this website.
Finally in September of 2002, I realized that PrayerList.Com was the ministry God called me to back in 1973. From this time forward I have dedicated my life to PrayerList.Com.
I have been working diligently to transform
this site to work in as many browsers and operating systems possible.
It also, works very well with screen readers, text readers, and braile
readers. We have added the Holy Bible to this site with all the
accessability features of the rest of the site.
